Pursuing the Dream I'm an engineering student that's really into math and physics. I also love playing guitar and harmonica - but regrettably don't get around to them every day. I've been practicing tai chi and chi gung for around a year now, and have been feeling pulled to yoga. I recently bought a mat and have instituted a daily practice since this past Sunday. When pressed to share my religion, I usually say "Compassion" - which is also my political view. I hope for a simple life where I can grow my own food and have a bit of space, and a great family. Also, I hope to do independent alternative energy research.

At the beginning of 2011 I quit eating meat, and am going strong and enjoying changes in my body. I've got a little extra weight that I'm still working to get off - probably 20 pounds - but that's for IDEAL fitness. I've lost about the same in the last 7 months or so.

I'm looking for a progressive thinker that's got a passion for life, and hopefully a disdain for the trappings of modern life - TV, fast food, CONTINUAL iPhone usage, minimal/no Facebooking. Someone who plays music would be awesome. I don't care what you eat, as long as you are mindful of what you're putting into your body. This is to say - I don't judge a meat eater.
