Having been in graduate school and raising a child, my balance of masculine and feminine in life has become skewed. I am seeking to find more men with whom I share the goals of personal and spiritual fullfillment and growth, especially via kinesthetic means.
I am active and garden, have animals even though I live in the city ( I have chickens!). I love the outdoors and walking and hiking. Have practiced yoga for almost 20 yrs., though not always as consistently or with the discipline I might prefer. Education is a hobby for me, as well as my means of making a living, and I have a background in psych/mental health, holistic health and bodywork, fitness, and special education and education in general. I love children and animals.
I am not politically minded and though I live in the midst of the Bible Belt, do not hold the same values and beliefs as my peers in middle TN. Raised in the South in a Christian home however, I am quite educated in this area but have chosen a different path that works for me and lovingly embraces my roots.
I am open to relationships wiht men that are based on friendship as well as dating. I am a no nonsense woman and do not sugar coat things. I am direct and honest and expect the same. There simply is no reason or time in life to manipulate and play games encouraged by our culture.
I am attractive and feminine, yet independent and single all my life, taking care of most of my own needs around my home etc. Yet, I love to cook and keep house and create a homey environment.
I would love to chat, take a hike or walk or meet for tea if you find that what little I have offered here interests you. Oh, and I also have quite a sense of humor and well, am kinda nutty and spontaneous. The humor silly side of my brain is a bit overdeveloped! So be prepared...
